This is one of the shortest treks designed up to Poon Hill which lies into the foothill of the Annapurna massif. Poon Hill is located just 400m. above Ghorepani and offers a brilliant view of the Himalayan giants such as the many peaks of Annapurna, the holy Machhapuchhre(Fish Tail) and Dhaulagiri (8167m). On a clear Day, it is even possible to see the transcendental valley o the southern side. This trek is easy and can be organized throughout the year. The facilities on the trail are well developed. The overland drive from Pokhara takes us to Nayapul within one and a half hour and from Nayapul we start the trek through farm terraces, mountain villages and lush river valleys.
